Due to the fact that covid-19, shut everything down for two years or better, our activities and memberships have dropped very low, VFW Post 247, we are not the only one the Millard Post 8334, Sold its building, Carter Lake Post Closed. American Legion Post 331 sold their building in South Omaha. So I talked with American Legon Post 1, and they opened their door's to our VFW 247 Member's. American Legion 1, has Bands, Bingo, Dances, Good Food, and nice Friendly Canteen. There is a nice meeting room.
